In a joint announcement from Northville Public Schools (NPS) and the Northville Education Association (NEA), we are pleased to share that after a collaborative summer of negotiations, both parties have tentatively agreed on the terms of a successor contract for the 2024-2025 school year.
This agreement is significant for our families, staff, and students, as it includes the release of the 2024-2025 school calendar. Key dates include teacher professional development days, Thanksgiving Recess, Winter Recess, Mid-Winter Break, Spring Break, MME Testing, and the last day of classes.
Please note that this calendar is subject to final ratification by the Northville Public Schools Board of Education and the Northville Education Association. Additional details, including half days around marking periods, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and other building or grade-level specific dates, will be available in the coming week.
We understand the importance of these dates for planning purposes and are committed to keeping our community informed as the new school year approaches.
