Northville Public Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Ignagni as the new Assistant Principal of Hillside Middle School. Mr. Ignagni joins the Hillside administrative team with a wealth of experience and a passion for educational excellence.
Mr. Ignagni replaces Ms. Melissa Provo who has taken the position of principal at Meads Mill Middle School.
Ignagni's educational career spans over two decades, during which he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. He holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, and his previous roles have included positions as a classroom teacher, a Dean of Students, and most recently, a curriculum coordinator.
Hillside Principal William Jones shared, “During the interview process, Mr. Ignani’s personality and experience resonated strongly with students, staff, and parents, and we are excited to bring that experience and instructional leadership to the Hillside administration team.”
As Assistant Principal, Mr. Ignagni will focus on enhancing the school’s academic programs, supporting teacher development, and promoting a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students. His hands-on approach and strong communication skills are expected to make a positive impact on the school’s culture and student outcomes.
Mr. Ignagni stated, “I feel very privileged to have this opportunity to work with the wonderful students, families, staff, and administration of Hillside Middle School. I am excited to build new partnerships with them as we all work together to continue the high level of learning and education at Hillside and throughout Northville Public Schools.”
